Islington Community Theatre & Platform Islington Co-Production A two-week intensive project - using the cafe space at Platform Islington to discuss the importance of preserving spaces and cultural identities for young people in an increasingly gentrified city....via the medium of fried chicken.

A new work of contemporary dance. Performed January 2014 as part of Resolution! Dance Festival, The Place.   This is a free dance using only free space, feee time, free materials and a free body.  How can we use what we cannot afford?   Devised / Choreographed / Performed :  James Morgan Devised / Designed / Voiceover  :  Charley Fone    

Co-designed with Cecile Tremolieres Working with the Tricycle Theatre's youngest "Young Company" group as part of the Takeover Festival. Realising the 7-11 year olds' ideas about their Dream version of their hometown Neasden - and how they plan to finance it! Delightfully uncensored by Director Nicki Stevenson, the audience moves along the carpet road through a promenade from Town Sign to Bank Robbery, Wedding Shop, DJ Warehouse, Baby sale on Ebay....and beyond ! The performance was installed and took place in the community centre situated in the kids' tower block. 

Set and Costume Design

Storyboard for a speculative Site-Specific performance inspired by the qualities of Blackfriars Bridge. I studied and documented the pedestrian choreography of the shifting hoards of commuters crossing the bridge, and the many, tiny, spy-like rendezvous that went completely un-noticed. I thought the ultimate tribute to the bridge and the office workers who use it would be a large scale, eye-catching, live spy thriller performed right there on the pavements that they use every day.
